    ICARD: Upcoming temporary suspension of bank transfers in USD

    Dear CUSTOMER,

    Thank you for choosing our services!
    We would like to notify you of a temporary suspension of all inbound and outbound bank transfers in USD currency in iCARD, as of 03/11/2016.
    Once all bank transfers in USD become unavailable, the following changes will apply:
    1. You will not be able to receive inbound transfers in USD
    2. You will not be able to make outbound transfers in USD

    In the event of someone making a transfer to your IBAN in USD in iCARD after 03/11/2016, the transfer will be declined and the money will not be received in your account.
    We apologize for the inconvenience, but this is caused by a change of our correspondent banks. We are doing everything possible to resume all transfers in USD currency as soon as possible.
    We will notify you once the matter is resolved. Meanwhile you can convert your balance in USD in some of the other supported currencies in your online account. The rest of the Service is not changed.
    Thank you in advance for your understanding. Should you have any questions, we remain at your disposal for assistance at all times.

    Perfetto , ora identica comunicazione è arrivata da LeuPay e myPOS.

    Quindi riguarda sia i conti Business che Personal.

    Presumo che gli acquisti in USD vadano fatti attraverso altre carte in altre valute... anche se non lo dice... parla di transfers, non di payments...

      Stessa storia per Leupay.

      Quello che non ho capito è cosa succede se qualcuno manda USD all'IBAN in EURO.
      In passato semplicemente convertivano USD in EURO (come fanno tutte le banche) e accreditavano l'importo convertito in EUR.
      Che ne pensi basta usare l'IBAN in EURO e riceverci tutte le valute ?

        Per le altre valute è OK. Siccome è consigliato convertire gli USD in un altra valuta, deduco di si. E deduco anche che è meglio lasciare vuoto l'account USD , anche se è virtuale...

          Lo avevano preannunciato diversi mesi fa, comunque il problema non è questo, secondo me sta per accadere qualcosa finanziariamente tra continenti e valute.

          Siediti lungo la riva del fiume e aspetta, prima o poi vedrai passare il tuo nemico.

              Non è minaccioso ma sono gli eventi, basta vedere il passato storico delle nazioni, guerre ed economie che vanno a rotoli.

                Il problema di fondo è che ( finora e dopo il Fatca) ,gli USD sono stati una valuta rognosa per le banche , tanto quanto i clienti US .
